justjason is the fusion of visions and sounds by Jason Cesarz....
Sound Designer/Voice Talent/Visual Artist for Morphed Productions
Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1971, I eventually grew to love music, drawing, painting, sculpting, poetry, and my drumset! After the birth of my son in 1993, art seemed to be replaced with work, bills,.etc...and yet always somehow finding time for my own arts. June 2003 I moved to Portland, OR., and starting pouring out poems, paintings, illustrations, and music/soundscapes, establishing the roots of what has grown into the thriving garden of justjason arts, including a multitude of audio/music projects with Morphed Productions. Portland is the perfect home, for my passion for creating visual realms, and aural-atmospheres, harnessing my ideas, and crafting them into realization. My writings erupt at various intervals, and always seem to reflect my innermost hopes and fears, often times interwoven with illustrations, revealing my truest self, to myself, and the world. My sound designs are constructed using duel Yamaha RM1x- Sequence Remixers, FL Studio6, Sound Forge8, Samplitude V8 SE, my 11 piece Ludwig Drumset, and my library of samples, sound FX, homemade soundscapes, and of course my voice speaks for itself!! Most of my paintings are all made out of things thrown away by the industrial warehouses of NW Portland, where the "expired"colorants, paint, particle board, plywood, "expired" wood glue, and broken pallet pieces were all collected. Recycling all of this trash into something more...became almost a passion for me, as I watch these industries continually destroy the world thru consumption and capitalism, the need to change our ways is clear!!! I continue to reside and work in Portland, with my son, who is now engrossed in his own artistic journeys!
